Hi, everyone! I’m so excited to share with you my latest grocery haul. On my Instagram, I post grocery hauls, sometimes weekly, sometimes not. I’ll be honest I am not consistent on there because of the limitations. I promise to do better on this platform.
You can check out some of my grocery haul videos here:
Today I’m sharing all of the groceries that we picked up for a week’s worth of meals, plus some things my parents requested. My parents are in town, and I wanted to pick up items for them to eat. I went to Trader Joe’s because I like their selection, and prices are usually reasonable. My only qualm with Trader Joe’s is their environmental impact. Many of their items are unnecessarily packaged, and they have the lowest rating on the Environmental Investigation Agency’s Climate-Friendly Supermarket Scorecard.
Before I go grocery shopping, I always do a quick inventory of what I have on hand.
It’s always good to give your fridge and pantry a good clean-out. I only buy food that I am inspired by at the time or what’s on sale. Lately, I’ve been going grocery shopping with no plan, just vibes (and a budget LOL).
I only cook for myself for breakfast and lunch, so I keep it real simple—sandwiches, oatmeal, smoothies, toasts, etc.
For dinner, I usually cook on Monday and Wednesday. I cook larger dinners that typically last for two or three meals, and I try not to repeat the same meal throughout the week.
